Invasion Defenders getting Short Changed!

Now I'm sure to get flamed for this, but so what.

Defending players in the Invasions get short changed when it comes to GCW. It's been noted a lot that the Attackers have the upper hand with the ability to build more than the defenders, and the ability to take out all the defenses while combatant letting the defenders be overwhelmed, but they also win on the GCW side of things.

Destroy missions only require a single turret or barricade to be destroyed for the GCW, 250 for each one, while defenders have to kill 10 things to get theirs. On top of that, attackers who attack the General get an extra 1000 GCW plus tokens for the victory, while defenders get, well gyp.

It seems ridiculous to me that when attacking I can get 0 kills, do less than a minute's work and get 2000 GCW and 50 tokens while as a defender I have to work my tail off for 30 mins, can get 150+ kills, and still only get 1000 GCW and 40 tokens.

My suggestion is this. Defenders should get bonus GCW for winning based on the General's Health and bonus Tokens for winning based on their percentage of the overall kills made. This would mean that players actually had to take part to get the bonuses and give them good reason to try and prevent as much damage to the General as they can. By having to take part it will help prevent camping about the General because you won't get the extras (not that that works with the new system anyway) and it also makes it slightly fairer for both sides rather than the attackers having all the advantages.
